The reference workloads are a great resource for testing and validating contacts app. It would be nice to either enhance our currently workloads or create a separate workload with more l10n characters and scripts, though. For example, right now I'd like to run a workload to exercise bug 914942, but the current workloads do not include names with the right characters.

I could provide you with Greek names if you give me more details about what I have to do, ex. how many, what format etc.

I believe I can generate new contact names with names from multiple languages, so its just a question of generating a new reference workload set. I'll see if I can look at this next week, if we decide its a priority...

Kaze - can you provide a list of languages that would be useful for this bug?

Not sure I understand the question, but FWIW:
• Greek (el) is the only locale I know that uses a Greek alphabet;
• the Cyrillic alphabet has many variations; it is used by Belarusian (be), Bulgarian (bg), Macedonian (mk), Russian (ru), Serbian (sr), Ukrainian (uk), and can be an alternate script for some Asian languages (e.g. Kazakh) with a few additional letters.
For creating a reference workload with these Greek and Cyrillic scripts, I’d recommend using a list of names that start with the most common letters (without diacritics) in both scripts, i.e.:
• the 24 Greek letters:
Α Β Γ Δ Ε Ζ Η Θ Ι Κ Λ Μ Ν Ξ Ο Π Ρ Σ Τ Υ Φ Χ Ψ Ω
• the 24 Cyrillic letters that are common to all Slavic languages:
А Б В Г Д Е Ж З И К Л М Н О П Р С Т У Ф Х Ц Ч Ш
(I think “И” is not used in Belarusian but we can keep it nonetheless)
