Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010729 Netscape6/6.1b1 BuildID: 2001072908 When I want to save an inline attatchment from a post from a newsgroup, Mozilla proceed to do another download of said attatchment. That new DL is useless, as the file has been already download along the message, and only waste time/bandwidth. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Go in any binaries group, display a message with a somewhat large file or picture attatched (over 100Kb). Save that file to a local folder. Actual Results: Mozilla do a new download of the selected file, as shown by the DUN activity meter. (Have only the mail-newsgroup window open, and distplay the DUN window) If the file is large, or the net buzy/slow, it can take over 1 minute for a 150Kb file or picture. Expected Results: The file should get saved in less than a few second, elapsed time could be as low az ZERO, with NO data transfert with the web. If you use a cable modem or other fast connection, you may not notice this bug, BUT it may make you bump your montly up/download quota causing you to needlessly aving to pay extra.
