What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible. ================================================================================== What should be changed is the way URLs are displayed in the URL bar. I think it's mostly when a page has been moved that the end URL is rather ugly. Example of a URL where I landed after searching "animationend" on DuckDuckGo: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Reference/Events/animationend?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=DOM%2FMozilla_event_reference%2Fanimationend What problems would this solve? =============================== Cleaner URLs Who would use this? =================== Everyone sharing something from MDN via URLs What would users see? ===================== Cleaner URLs in their URL bar What would users do? What would happen as a result? =================================================== Users don't need to do anything. Is there anything else we should know? ====================================== A pure client-side JS solution using the History API could be laregly enough for 80% of cases.
I don't have the bug at hand, but this is duplicate. The other bug has a lot of votes/duplicate on it.
I you ever find it again, ping me, I'll happily vote for this one :-)
