Do we support Dutch?

Amirn, this may be a bug in our code. I've switched to French in a v1.2 device and the word "Everything" didn't change. Please take a look at this asap.

Sorry if I may not get this right, but I see Everything translated in search results ever since this was changed for nl on oct 23, at least on a Keon. It doesn’t happen in either French or German though, probably because ‘Everything’ hasn’t been localized as requested for those locales. See http://transvision.mozfr.org/?repo=gaia_1_2&sourcelocale=en-US&locale=nl&search_type=strings&recherche=everything (please compare to de and fr). So, are we really talking bugs here? And now we’re at it, where should and shouldn’t Everything be localized?
This is an l10n issue. Seems like the 'Everything' is *NOT* translated for fy-NL locale: http://hg.mozilla.org/gaia-l10n/fy-NL/file/5bdd99b12710/apps/homescreen/homescreen.properties#l52 but *is* translated for the nl locale: http://hg.mozilla.org/gaia-l10n/nl/file/acc42228e870/apps/homescreen/homescreen.properties#l59

I don't have access to the full set of gaia locales, due to bug 795709, but a search on regular gaia turns up untranslated strings on fr and zh-TW: https://mxr.mozilla.org/gaia/search?string=evme-helper-title This is probably a translation issue that affects multiple (but not all) locales.

Summary: [B2G][1.2][l10n][Everything.me] Nederlands: The word Everything is not translated when showing search results → [B2G][1.2][l10n][Everything.me] evme-helper-title-prefix and evme-helper-title-empty strings ("Everything") not translated
Locales with "Everything" on Gaia 1.2 and Gaia 1.3: de, fr, zh-TW Locales with "Everything" on gaia-l10n (not shipping): de, fr, fy-NL, gd, ja, zh-TW.
Does the string mean everything of <category name>, or the common term used in Everything.me? A note to localizers would be appreciated. If it's the former, we'll need to put it as a suffix for category name. (i.e., <category name> 的所有項目) Category/collection names in zh-TW are kept untranslated as well since it's said that both Chinese are not supported in ev.me, and it would return strange results if we have them localized.

Peter - can you please specify which languages would require a suffix instead of a prefix?

I just know Chinese so I can only say Chinese (especially zh-TW) would need a suffix. Holy, does zh-CN also need this?

Yes, zh-CN also need this if the meaning is "everything of <category name>"

On second thought, it's not exactly "Everything of [topic]". Is more like "Everything (related to) [topic]". Does that change anything?
It's the same, even the translation is changed a little bit but still need suffix for zh-CN. Possible translation is : “<category name> 所有相关的項目”

Possible translation is : “<category name> 所有相关的項目” I see your point but we don't tend to issues of unsupported languages. Once the relevant territory would be requested of us, we'll make sure all E.me translations are correct and make sense. Btw, this text will not show up in v1.4, therefore the issue would probably be irrelevant by then.
We've stopped shipping Firefox OS for phones. Thus resolving this as WONTFIX.
