When you put the wide widgets (zoom and cut, copy, paste) in the toolbar they take a new appearance as expected. But when they are put back in the palette they show a distorted icon. It should always show the same icon in the palette.

Mike already has a patch for this in bug 878065. It might actually be worth taking separately if that bug is going to be delayed more while it sorts out toolkit impact.
