Also, a general request - given that the newsletter happens every month, can we get this bug earlier in the cycle next time? Having 3 or 4 days to add this to our project list and get it done puts strain on the team and isn't necessarily fair to people whose projects may have to get bumped as a result.

Hey John,

This is definitely a challenge, with all of the last-minute re-working that our team was asked to do as well. 

Jess has shared the newsletter calendar with several folks - do you all have it? We have the dates for design scheduled in the calendar so your team can plan for when the copy/design will come each month. 

Opening the bug more in advance is going to be a challenge, as we're already working 6 weeks out and finding that hard to accommodate. 

I'm happy to get on a call and talk through. I'm not sure I have much in the way of alternative solutions, but I'm totally open to hearing ideas.

We don't need to have this conversation in this bug, but surely there's a way you can file the request with more than 4 days' notice? Duly noted on the challenges this month, but as an ongoing thing there has to be a better way.

Hey John and Carmen - you're both right. I usually plan for a week turn around with the newsletter bugs and the dates for both filing and completing the design bugs are on the calendar.  This month's got completely crunchy given the other campaigns happening. I apologize for this month. We do have a better process in place going forward. Please let me know if this timeframe is completely impossible.

Hi, 

I am assigning this over to Matt. As always he will do his best to meet this tight timeline. 

On a note regarding making sure we have a bit more notice, would it be possible to file the design bug at the same time as the copy bug? It may seem like overkill to file so early, but it does let us put it in as a placeholder so we can make sure to account for it when sourcing projects that are due around the same time. I'm also open to other ideas or having a larger conversation around it (out of bug).

Good morning MT!  I apologize for the delay on my end.

I just loaded in the images, and most of them look good. I do have a few edits, can you please:

* Add congstar logo to "feature4_de" (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=824234)

* Update the Apps images to use the logo of that particular app (ie https://marketplace.cdn.mozilla.net/img/uploads/addon_icons/449/449752-64.png?modified=1383310791). Let me know if you want me to send you the images in a bigger file size.
	- Needs the framing around it like the featured Addons & Themes
	- Need psd of cut the rope with "partner spotlight" banner so I can update it with the localizations (or you can if you'd like once I get them later this week.

* Android image is cute, but isn't localization friendly with the "Get it on Google Play". Can you play with some of this imagery to reconfigure so it's more l10n friendly?

* Can you try to make the Add-ons images a little bit bigger and the gtranslate icon a bit crisper (it looks blurry)
	- Can you make sure that the peach is lined up to look right with the other 2 icons?

Jess, I've attempted to clean up the add-ons a bit, although a challenge due to their original size and quality. Do you have access to higher rez versions of these? I can really scale them up since they degrade in quality to quickly.  I've gone ahead and sharpened them as well as cleaning up their outer pixels.

Jess, for the android image I was thinking that this could be handy. It gives 40 different languages for that graphic I was using. If you let me know what languages we need, I can create a version for each.

Another quick thought with the Android image - would it be possible to add a Firefox logo somewhere on the current Android image? Hopefully everyone that's reading our newsletter knows that the link is to get Firefox on Google Play - but just to make it 100% clear if someone was scanning the newsletter and saw this image, it would be great to tie that "Firefox" gets the 4 1/2 stars, not the little green Android dude.
