When we are in WebSocket only mode, push should be disabled. When we can listen on UDP, it's fine. So, going into power save mode should close an existing websocket, and prevent opening any websocket not triggered by UDP.

This doesn't require any push changes, power save mode automatically switches off wifi and data.
