Bug 927763 was tracking a regression of 20% on asmjs-apps-box2d-workload1 --no-asmjs --ion-parallel-compiling= on. The fix there improved my scores from 2100 locally to 2000. So a 5% improvement. We still don't match the 1700 it used to be. Note: the patch in bug 927763 did also decreased the regressions on (according to awfy) asmjs-apps-bullet-workload1: 40% to 28% asmjs-apps-bullet-workload2: 30% to 20% asmjs-apps-bullet-workload3: 26% to 16% I assume the regression in those scripts will probably be caused by the same issue. But that's totally guessing.

The regression is quite old, the benchmark doesn't exist anymore (at least with the same name), and we're doing pretty good on this benchmark on --no-asmjs. Although v8 is slightly faster, but that's a different issue. Hannes, can we close?
