In Lockscreen and Settings, the Carrier name is noted as "Chungwa" which I believe it should be a typo of "Chunghwa".

The name in APN list is correct though.

I must admit my ignorance: I thought this name was taken from the carrier itself, and I can't find any instance of this string in Gaia.

The carrier name is read from the ICC card or from the network. The carrier name seen in the APN list comes from the apn.json database (see [1]). Carrier names are not localized or changed in gaia.

It seems that CHT provide this "wrong" brand name in cell network after reading RIL debug log with my three sim cards.
