Steps to reproduce:

My internet is behind a Proxy server which requires username&password authentication



Actual results:

The metro app doesn't save the password for my proxy server whereas the desktop version saves it using the password manager


Expected results:

Metro app must have asked me for saving the Password&username and should ahave saved it

I'm not sure but this might be related to the fact that we do not have the Password Manager in metroFx

We'll probably need more information in order to diagnose and fix this.  Do you know the name of the proxy software that displays the login page, and/or can you save a copy of the HTML page and attach it to this bug?

Also, do you have Master Password enabled?  Password saving in Metro Firefox is currently broken in profiles that are encrypted with a Master Password (bug 949333).

I'm closing this bug report for now.  Please reopen it if you can provide steps to reproduce the problem in the latest version of Firefox Nightly or Aurora.
