User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130910160258 Steps to reproduce: Nobody can accurately get accurate referring source traffic from Google natural search now that searches are encrypted. If the meta referrer tag is not supported then all traffic from Google natural search will continue to be lumped into the direct traffic bucket. Actual results: Mixed referring source of traffic. Places Google natural search traffic into the direct bucket. This is the case in all major analytical software suites (Adobe, WebTrends, Coremetrics, Google etc). Expected results: Referring traffic from Google natural search should appear in the Google natural search bucket. Chrome and iOS 5/7 support the meta referrer tag and therefore traffic is correctly attributed. FF, IE and IOS6 do not support the meta referrer tag and therefore natural search traffic from Google is being lumped into the direct bucket.
