It appears that they're doing the mobile detection via the server, however there are a few problems with the "mobile" version of the site: https://gist.github.com/miketaylr/7415705 suggests that they might be using Web SQL (which Gecko does not support) and https://gist.github.com/miketaylr/7415768 shows that they're only using -webkit- prefixed CSS for a number of properties.

So we should contact them and ask to redirect Firefox OS to the mobile site, but also ask that they add prefixless CSS3 properties. If we get a good contact with them, it would also be good to ask if they are indeed using WebSQL (and if there are fallbacks in place).

They have two mobile sites, one simplified (where you can only fly to/from airports in India..) served to Firefox on Android - see 975378 - and one fancy.
