There is no user interface to search an LDAP directory for user data.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. From any Netscape 6 window, click "Tasks | Address Book"
2. Select any address book
3.
Actual Results: There is not search UI
Expected Results: Need search capabilities

See also bug 83023, UI needed to search addressbook datasources. I don't know
if the search UI added for that bug would be able to search LDAP.

I can confirm that bug 83023 has the ability to search LDAP and all other
supported address book types in Mozilla.
