Details

When I access a page that requires htaccess type authentication I cannot type into the fields for username or password. The fields are neither selectable nor inputable. Using: RH 7.1XFree86 4.0.3 twm (RH rpm XFree86-twm-4.0.3-5 ) Settings: Focus follows pointer
This is also true of the Find dialog. Input fields are not selectable. Checkboxes and buttons work properly (though I can't tab through them, but I don't know if I'm supposed to be able to do that).
Reporter: Which build are you using ? Can you try it with a new profile (run "mozilla -profilemanager", you can create a secound test Profile, you don't need to delete your old one)
Release 0.9.3 build 2001080312 New installation on a different machine with same config, new profile exhibits same behavior. Tried gnome-wm and dialogs worked properly, I suspect twm. I can provide you with my .twmrc if you would like.
thanks for your fast answer ! (and thanks for your testing with another wm. I'm not a linux user and i didn't notice your "TWM" in your initial report.) This is a dupe of bug 78928 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 78928 ***
