Javascript images don't show up or get updated. At http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/  the
'Favorite Images' area on the right side of the page is empty (works in Nescape
4.7).  Also bottons do not update  on the WebStiers database search.  Go to
http://www.silverplatter.com/iss.html and look for the link to " Open full
screen within the current browser retaining the toolbar (See Sample)" On that
page when you check a database the "Open Selected Databases" button should turn on.



Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
[1] At http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/  the 'Favorite Images' area on the right side of

NT 4.0 build 1381 SP 6.  P2 400MHz. 256MB RAM

Both problems confirmed, Win NT build 2001080603.  I think the first one may be
related to our inability to replace "alt" text with an image once loaded.

[1] is a duplicate of bug 22820 "Broken IMG 'src' cannot be changed to valid 
'src' dynamically".

[2] worksforme, build 2001-08-09-04 on Windows 98 SE.

(David, please file separate bug reports in the future to allow independent
 tracking of bugs. Thanks.)

[2] is worksforme on Linux build 2001-08-15-14 too.
So the only problem seems to be [1] which is a dupe.
