935945 - Data field is cleared when the user clicks a date from the calendar

Stesp to reproduce:
1. Load the MP-dev Statistics page and click on chart link https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/stats/total-visits/
2. Click on a date field (From or To)
3. Click on the current date
4. Click the Update button.

Expected results:
When the curent date is clicked, or a different date is clicked twice, nothing happens.

Actual results:
The date field turns red and it displayed YYYY-MM-DD.

Verified on FF28 (Win 7).

There's a chance this is the intended behavior by the authors of Brick (which the datepicker is a part of).

Presently overhauling the datepicker, hopefully will have more clear and intuitive interaction.
