I noticed that Silk can play YouTube videos, and they don't seem to be embedded. Worth investigating whether we can access the built-in video player rather than using ours. See also Bug 936851.

We can't access the Silk player. We should use our own or just play the videos in Firefox itself.

For the record: "For supported video formats, instead of embedding playback in the browser, Silk opens an Android player activity." http://amazonsilk.wordpress.com/useful-bits/silk-media-handling/ If we knew what that was, it'd be a useful arrow in our quiver. I tried to find out, but failed.
