From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.1b1; Mac_PowerPC) BuildID: 2001080316 When loading web page via http, browser gets to initial "Transferring data from <host>" then just hangs forever with very high CPU utilization and browser throbber showing that it is still trying to load. It seems to be "hanging" on images because often an initial page background will display with a place holder for an image will appear but neither the image nor any other page elements finish loading. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start browser 2. Attempt to load any page/address via http Actual Results: Browser resolves host, connects to it, says "Transferring data from <host>", then just hangs forever with very high CPU utilization and browser throbber showing that it is still trying to load. Expected Results: Page should have loaded and displayed in browser window. Opening files from local storage does not exhibit this problem, just pages loading via http. Router blinkenlights show direct correlation to browser behavior, network traffic on initial page hit then net traffic ceases on the browser hang. Interestingly, I can often get the page to finish loading by invoking the View Page Source menu option. Also, closing hung window will stop high CPU utilization. The behavior is not specific to any particular web site. All http URL's exhibit the problem. Running under Mac OSX 10.0.4 on a dual processor 533 MHz G4 PowerMac behind an Apple Airport 802.11b wireless hub with NAT on a cable modem. I've read at least one other report of this same behavior from someone on the same OS/hardware configuration in the reviews for Mac OSX mozilla on versiontracker.com. This same bug has been around in the nightly builds for a while but I do not remember when I first saw it.

Works for me under Fizzilla/0.9.3 (2001080316) on a single-processor G4/466 running OS X 10.0.4.
