Details

I have identified several issues with contextual menus on Mac OS X (apologies if these are in other bugs, but a quick search didn't reveal anything). Ctrl-clicking or right-clicking should make the menu appear immediately. (I can't tell if the delay I'm seeing is due to a wait, or due to the menu taking time to be create.) Clicking on disabled items or separators should make the menu go away. It doesn't in Mozilla. A click to bring the menu up should leave the menu up until the next click. A click-and-hold should dismiss the menu when the mouse is released (like the way the menubar menus work).
> (I can't tell if the delay I'm seeing is due to a wait, or due to the menu > taking time to be create.) The latter.

Ever confirmed: true
build 2001081205 my contextual menu's don't appear at all. neiter right-click ctrl-click or holding the left button produces a contextual menu.
see also bug 95790.
Summary: Contextual Menu Issues → Contextual Menu Issues on OS X
1) is speed related only. 2) is not specific to osx 3) is another bug of mine marking invalid as this bug isn't really anything new, though the spirit is appreciated.
