In UX Nightly, when I load a page, nothing is displayed. All I can see is the title showing that the page is loaded. This issue is fixed after visiting about:customizing.

I restarted in Safe Mode, and found that an add-on (Anonymox) is causing this issue. I have tested in Nightly, and it works fine. I have not changed any of the settings, so you should be able to reproduce simply by installing the add-on off of AMO.

Web Console dump: https://pastebin.mozilla.org/3628933 The JS error in there 'toolbarbutton is null toolbar_button.js:119' comes from the 'HTTPS Everywhere' add-on at 'https-everywhere@eff.org/chrome/content/toolbar_button.js'.

... but that JS error does not seem to cause this bug, is what I wanted to say. It's definitely Anonymox.

As we can't affect the solution for this, I don't think we should prio it (until/unless we get other info).

Joshua, do you still reproduce any problems with the Anonymox add-on?

Yes, it still produces the same error. Now, it also gives me an alert dialog: An error has occured. Press "OK" to get help. Error Details: Source: ui.updateStatusLabels Error Message: TypeError: statusLabel is null Code: resource://anonymox/components.jsm -> resource://anonymox/ui.js line 497 Version: anonymoX 2.1.1 @ Firefox 29.0a1 @ Darwin

(In reply to Jorge Villalobos [:jorgev] from comment #6) > I just notified the developers through AMO. Jorge, did they get back to you? As we're going to beta on Monday, I wonder if the add-on is already marked as incompatible with 29. If not, I think we should do that. The experience in comment #0 isn't something I want anyone to have to deal with. :-(

I just marked it as incompatible, removed it from the featured list and downgraded it on the site so it gets less visibility. A new version was posted after I contacted them, but it didn't fix the problem.

Version 2.3.1 fixes the issue: We used a custom notificationbox (for some reason), which was inserted to a non-existing element in australis. This was not necessary and now the default notificationbox is used.
