Please add ISO 8859-16 to your character set name registries on ftp://ftp.x.org/pub/DOCS/registry http://www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets I do not recommend to actually use ISO 8859-16 for any data exchange over the Internet, since UTF-8 can be used for the same purposes and is already far more widely implemented. Let's all pray that this will be the last part of the now well-stirred ISO 8859 alphabet soup. Markus -- Markus G. Kuhn, Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge, UK Email: mkuhn at acm.org, WWW: <http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/> The mapping table is actaully in http://www.unicode.org/Public/MAPPINGS/ISO8859/8859-16.TXT
