Details

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1217091 I recently installed Ubuntu 13.10 which ships with Firefox 25 (updated to 25.0.1) and noticed that getUserMedia does not work at all. There is no door-hanger prompt and no errors shown in the browser console whatsoever. The above has been reported by various users on launchpad. Comment #4 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1217091/comments/4 points to an alsa-lib issue. Just filing this in-case there's anything affecting Gecko here. -- Firefox 25.0.1 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 Linux Valkyrie 3.11.0-13-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 23 07:38:26 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Ubuntu 13.10
