User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131120062258
Steps to reproduce:
-Add + on tab bar
-Close Firefox
-Reopen
-"+" (new tab) is missing, but it's still present in customize
I have attached a screen capture of the settings, in case the problem is generated by it
Actual results:
"+" is missing

Huh, that's strange. Offhand, I'm not sure what would cause that. It should be there by default, anyhow...
If you open the browser console (ctrl+shift+j) and copy/paste and run:
CustomizableUI.getWidgetIdsInArea("TabsToolbar").join(',')
What does that output? Do you also not see it when you disable your lightweight theme?

Another small followup question: if you have lots of tabs open, does it show up then, at the end of the tab bar?
CustomizableUI.getWidgetIdsInArea("TabsToolbar").join(',')
"tabbrowser-tabs,fixer-status-bar,new-tab-button,tabs-closebutton,alltabs-button"
The button does not appear even though I have many windows open, the only way to make it reappear is open customization, move it and put it back where it was, now I try to disable themes and plugins

Does not even appear in safe mode or in private mode and does not work even on the x64 version (I have both versions)

I've seen oddities like this when switching back from Fx Stable (24) and Nightly + Australis.
Usually it helps to start with a clean slate, like going into Customization Mode, click 'Restore Defaults' or checking if the bug also exists with a new/ clean profile.
Thanks Mike de Boer, now it work (with "Restore Defaults")
