+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #888128 +++ In a recent socorro update my capabilities have changed. I do have some admin privs in crash-status after logging into the updated socorro via persona. account vseerror@lehigh.edu. "Your Permissions" shows: View Exploitability Results Yes! View Personal Identifyable Information Yes! View Raw Dumps Yes! But I am missing ability to query > 30 days. I attempted query of 8 weeks and got... The maximum query date range you can perform is 30 days. Admins may log in to increase query date range limits. Query results have been narrowed to the default range of 14 days. Less troublesome but also missing is ability to access admin thunderbird settings for version and threshold.

AFAIK that's intentional to not cause overload on the database.

(In reply to Robert Kaiser (:kairo@mozilla.com) from comment #1) > AFAIK that's intentional to not cause overload on the database. There is a 30 day limit for non-logged in users. For logged in users (perhaps a subcategory, I don't know specifics) can, and should be able to do, up to 4 months.

I think this is a side effect of bug 931242. Peter, can you take a look? If not, please assign this bug to me and I'll look a bit later this week.

This was indeed caused by the new permission system. This more-than-30-days permission is now available to superusers only. I will work on a fix that will create a new permission for this, and we then give that permission to you and whoever needs to run long queries.

Thanks. I'm still SOL at 30 days, but I assume that's because someone needs to extend me the permission.

Looks good to me. I can do up to (at least) 16 weeks. Thanks very much.
