Details
WebClient doesn't do anything(keeps the existing web page) when loading
a url that doesn't exist. No error message, no exception, nothing.

I can't reproduce this.
I get "The requested URL could not be retrieved" page.
Platforms: WinNT 4.0 SP4, sparc Solaris 2.9.
Mozilla branch Netscape61_RELEASE + webclient branch JAVADEV_6_1_20010831.

Sorry.
It's because I have a proxy. Without proxy webclient really doesn't do anything.

Basically for a non existent website like http://www.carspoint.com.

edburns: is this really targeted for mozilla0.9.7 ? If not please retarget
Changing the URL so it doesn't show up as an MSN bug.
