[v1.2]"No recent apps" message is not present in Cards View

Details

In the master branch there is a "No recent message" displayed when there are no cards opened. In the v1.2 when there are no cards opened, there is no message displayed, just a black screen. I would like to see the "No recent message" added in the v1.2 branch also.

Too late in the release - that's a non-blocking issue, which we are not taking patches for at this time.
