As explained in http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/browser-element/BrowserElementChildPreload.js#621, the browser should preventDefault to prevent the platform firing a click event
(there is currently bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=942929) which prevents the click event being fired anyway
