Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131112160018
Steps to reproduce:
I open firefox, it says squint is disabled and offer me to restore default zoom behavior. Then when I check the addons section, many of my addons are shows are uninstalled and ask me to restart to complete uninstallation.
I use multiple PCs synched together. I didn't have this problem before but now I am having this problem. I don't know how to reproduce it but the addons are getting uninstalled even after reinstalling it.
Actual results:
Open firefox, many of my addons are automatically uninstalled. I don't know why and how. I have multiple computer synced together. In two computer I have administrative privilege, in another one (or two), its a student account in computer labs. The whole windows account user info is shared in computer labs from central database or something.
Expected results:
Extension should not be uninstalled automatically.

Have you checked your computers for malware? Which add-ons?

How?
NoSquint, probably.

nosquint as Loic mentioned. Sorry for the spelling.

I always make sure that a software is from trusty vendors. The problem did not start with installation of new software. I recently installed some games but all those were from origin.com and aeriagames.com. So I don't think any other malware is causing that.

Using firefox sync account.

This sounds sync-related and might not be a bug.
androidcraps, could you please confirm if you have exactly the same add-ons installed on all the computers on which you keep Firefox in sync?
I suspect that you might have uninstalled some of the add-ons you normally use from one of your computers and when you open Firefox, it tries to sync those add-on removals across all your computers. This would depend mostly on how you configured Firefox Sync between your computers.

No. I sync my addons too. But in the school computer, it wasn't synced before. Once I synced, I saw some addons (if not all) being installed. I did not uninstall any addons from any of the computers. This problem stopped after few weeks or so. Now I have fewer addons (cause I can't remember some of the addons being uninstalled automatically) but I don't have any problem. Also to be noted is I haven't logged in to that computer for a while. Not sure if the problem will reoccur when I use that computer again.

Marking this bug as WFM, since I'm unable to replicate it and it's also no longer reproducible on your side either. Feel free to reopen this bug if you encounter it again.
