This page, for example, doesn't overscroll in Safari or in Chrome: http://codepen.io/minimalmonkey/pen/sADjk
Since a page can overscroll to the right and left even if it's the only page in history and doesn't have horizontal scrollbars, it seems to me that we might have a more desirable behavior if we allow for vertical overscroll as well. But I'm happy to hear why we shouldn't do this from a UX perspective.

I cannot reproduce this with Firefox 150 on macOS 26.5. Probably go resolved somewhere along the way.
