Reproducible on: Firefox 26 RC (Build ID: 20131205075310) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 Reproducible on: Firefox 26 beta 10 (Build ID: 20131202182626) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 Reproducible on: latest Aurora (Build ID: 20131206004003) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 Reproducible on: latest Nightly (Build ID: 20131205030207) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 STR: 1. Launch Firefox. 2. Navigate to http://mail.yahoo.com/ and login. 3. Click on "Folders" or "Messenger" on the left menu. Expected results: "Trash" button's label is not visible. Actual results: "Trash" button's label remains visible. Notes: 1. Not reproducible on Chrome nor Opera. 2. It's a recent regression - not reproducible with FF 25.0.1 3. Not reproducible on Ubuntu, Mac OS X, Windows 8.1
Looks to me like it might be a problem with clipping or layering, maybe. Is it reproducible on Win8 if you turn off hardware acceleration? Can you get a Nightly regression range for this?

I'll update as soon as I get it.
FWIW, I just tried to reproduce this with Nightly in my WinXP VM, but was unable to. Which makes me suspect it might turn out to be dependent on your particular configuration in some way. Try a new profile? Try on a machine with different graphics?
I've been trying to reproduce this on an XP VM, having installed a few add-ons, changing screen size, but so far no luck reproducing this on 26RCb2.
(In reply to Jonathan Kew (:jfkthame) from comment #3) > Try a new profile? All the above testing is done with clean profiles. > Try on a machine with different graphics? Already reproduced this issue with 3 machines, different graphics. Hmm, it seems odd that neither :juanb nor I could reproduce it, yet you see it on several machines. How about if you disable any hardware acceleration in Preferences / Advanced / General? Can you reproduce in a VM, or is this only happening on "real" hardware?

Current YM UI looks changed. Is this still actionable?

This is no longer an issue with latest Aurora (Build ID:20140729004006), latest Nightly (Build ID:20140729030202), FF 31 RC (Build ID:20140716183446) and FF 32 beta 2 (Build ID:20140728123914) on Windows XP 32bit.
