Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131118194756 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to any YouTube video (using the mobile site) 2. Tap on video to play Actual results: Firefox opened a completely black activity (which presumably should contain the video in fullscreen), but after that, nothing happens Expected results: The video should play This behavior can be achieved by switching to another User Agent by using the Firefox addon "Phony", reloading the page and tapping on the video.
Additionally, this bug also existed in previous versions of Firefox.
Which device, Android OS, and version of Firefox are you testing with? Using the default unaltered user-agent, you should get mobile YouTube. Tapping a video on mobile YouTube should launch the YouTube application using a special intent and vnd.youtube content-type.

Duping this over to 906869, this sounds like the same issue. The device running Android must have YouTube installed as it's currently expected. Please re-open if this is not the case, and if so, please attach a log capturing output from when you attempt to launch a video off their mobile site.
