Currently Metro UI completely lacks any means of inspecting page layout. Given that desktop Firefox has this functionality for ages, I would suggest to make DevTools available in Metro UI. Ideally they should be disabled by default with a way to enable them either via options or via "about:config".
You can currently do this from a remote debug session via a desktop browser running in a different profile, or on another machine. Are you requesting that we port the ui over to metrofx here? https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Windows_8_Integration#Using_Devtools

(In reply to Jim Mathies [:jimm] from comment #1) > Are you requesting that we port the ui over to metrofx here? Exactly. I want to avoid ever launching desktop browser (and whatever else desktop software for that matter).
