Details

Changes default search engine to Yahoo!. The change is opt-in in the installer, and about:newaddon is not bypassed, but it makes the change before the installation has been accepted. Also prevents the user from selecting a different search engine in the search box. Removing the add-on does not restore the default search engine, nor remove the Yahoo! engine that it adds.
This is a Spigot add-on, by the way. We've had dealings with them before.

They're going to release a new version of the installer that addresses this. I already tested it and it works fine.
