Description:
If the backspace button is spammed in rapid succession while the 'to field' of a message is selected, the virtual keyboard will momentarily disappear. This can be repeated and looks very ugly.

Repro Steps:
1) Updated Buri to Build ID: 20131209004003
2) Open messaging app and select 'compose a new message.'
3) On the new message click the "to" field.
4) Instead of adding contacts, begin to spam the backspace button and observe the keyboard behaviour.

Actual: The virtual keyboard will disappear and reappear quickly.

Expected: The virtual keyboard never disappears while in use.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open messaging app and select 'compose a new message.'
2. On the new message tap the "to" field.
3. Enter some letters and then press "Enter"
4. Repeat step 3 for several times.

Actual results:

Sometimes the virtual keyboard will disappear and reappear quickly. 
When the keyboard disappears, part of home screen appears.

The virtual keyboard will disappear and reappear quickly.
There will flash a black background when the keyboard disappears.
