I tried to enter a bug with the bug-helper. After filling out all the fields and clicking on submit it complained about an "undescriptive" summary field (it wasn't). I changed the summary and clicked commit again, but nothing happened (even after clicking commit repeatedly). I could not send the bug at all with the helper (and I won't try again for this one). Browser: Mozilla 0.9.3
-> Bugzilla Helper so Gerv can look at it.

targon69: Can you tell me what Descriptions you were using that it didn't like, and what browser you were using? Gerv
the browser was mozilla 0.9.3 and the summary was "focus mishandling". I added random characters to the subject to make it longer after bugzilla complained, but the commit button had no effect from then on.
"Focus Mishandling" is too short - i.e. it has too few words in it, it's not descriptive enough. Adding random characters wouldn't help, unless there were spaces in there. Try using four or more words. Can I close this bug as INVALID, then? :-) Gerv
There were spaces in there! It was still not accepted. The error message was only displayed once. From then on, all clicks on commit were ignored.
Could you do this again in a recent nightly build and, when it doesn't work, pull down Tasks | Tools | Javascript Console and paste in what you see? Thanks, Gerv
I checked the Javascript console with 0.9.3 and it displayed two messages saying "Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to access property". Hmm. The bug-helper is reusing the same window to finally submit the bug report, isn't it? Opening a new window will not work because I have disabled pop-ups in my user.js file. Could that be the problem?
Yep, that's the problem. It does a pop-up. Ideally, we'd detect the failure and reuse the window. This is what I was trying to do over in bug 69292, but I stalled on finding a solution whose JS was cross-browser. If you'd like to pop over there and work something out, I'd be very grateful :-) Gerv *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 69292 ***

clearing milestone on all DUPLICATE/WONTFIX/WORKSFORME/INVALID so they'll show up as untriaged if they get reopened. "Jiminy Cricket!" for the filters (and I don't care if it's spelled wrong ;)
