I expressed my concerns here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=929349#c33 We should investigate how to make the Tracer feel more natural inside the Debugger, not an ad-hoc addition (which I don't think it is, but users might see it differently, especially since tracers don't usually live symbiotically *inside* debuggers).
FWIW, brackets has the tracer inside their debugger/editor.
Doesn't need to block bug 929349; we can continue iterating on UI/UX while the tracer is pref'd off.
No longer blocks: 929349
Depends on: 929349
Priority: -- → P3
Blocks: dbg-trace
Summary: Investigate whether it's better to disable some tabs in the debugger while tracing → Investigate whether we should disable other tabs in the debugger while tracing
