Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 2001080110 The Logitech MouseWare function "Scrollbar (Verticle)" allows the user to click a button to simulate click-and-dragging a verticle bar. This function does not work for *any* scrollbars in Mozilla (including the Mail/News client). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Using Logitech MouseWare, assign the "Scrollbar (Verticle)" function to a mouse button (e.g., the middle button). 2. Open a Mozilla window with a scrollbar (such as a webpage long enough to require a scrollbar). 3. Click the assigned button (e.g., the middle button). Actual Results: Nothing happens: the function does not activate. Expected Results: The mouse-pointer should jump to the middle of the scrollbar slider, and without the need to hold the button, the user should be able to move the slider via moving the mouse up or down (as though click-and-dragging, but without holding any buttons). I am using a Logitech Optical Mouse w/ Logitech MouseWare.
I can't repro this, but it appears valid so CONFIRMING. Sending over to XP Toolkit/Widgets since this is a mousewheel issue of sorts.
