What did you do? ================ 1. Open a link of MDN with slug for the language 2. Go to en_US version of the page What happened? ============== In the Mozilla Developer Network if the page does not have language in the URL you turn around to the language used by the browser. As action is correct, but he does it even if the page does not exist! What should have happened? ========================== So by opening this link https://developer.mozilla.org/Firefox/Releases/28/Site_Compatibility sent directly to https://developer.mozilla.org/it/Firefox/Releases/28/Site_Compatibility (with the browser language set to italian) and gives a nice 404 with a green monster. The link should instead https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Releases/28/Site_Compatibility Is there anything else we should know? ======================================
I have the same problem and it's quite annoying. Whenever I visit links to MDN I have to manually change the slug for the language, since there are many pages missing for the german version. The link should rediredt to the english version, but show a disclaimer, that there is no localized version of this page available.

This Bug is fixed now, but there is another problem similar to this bug. When searching on the german version of MDN, articles, that are not translated are not shown. So again, I have to change the slug by hand to get all search results. I think all hits should be shown and maybe the ones no translated should get a small hint, that they are not available in my language in the search list. Check for example this: https://developer.mozilla.org/de/search?q=transition It doesn't even show there is an article on CSS Transition, since it is not available in german.
Thank you Uwe, could you open a new bug for this and cc :jezdez? It would help!
Anyone can close this ticket as resolved? I've checked now and the problem does not occur :-)
