Description: Switching phone orientation while watching a video causes the video and the controls to appear incorrectly on the screen. The video will appear zoomed in on landscape and the user will have to scroll down to see the controls. When switching back to portrait, the video and controls are not filling in the screen completely. It appears zoomed out. Repro Steps: 1) Updated Buri to Build ID: 20131216140918 2) Open the video app. 3) Tap on a video to play it. 4) While the video is playing, change the phone's orientation to landscape and then back to portrait. Actual: Changing the phone orientation while watching a video causes the video to appear zoomed in on landscape and too far zoomed out in portrait. The video does not fill the screen properly. Expected: The video appears correctly on the screen when the user changes the orientation of the phone. Environmental Variables Device: Buri v 1.3.0 Mozilla RIL Build ID: 20131216140918 Gecko: 55b75ce2263e7d2a8cbfdabc7e5206d9caa89f98/rev/ Gaia: 504cf9a988cd84760b4040706ccc41e508a97fd2 Platform Version: 28.0a2 Notes: Repro frequency: 100% See attached: video, logcat
This issue only occurs with the APZ setting turned on so it does not occur on Buri v 1.2.0 Mozilla RIL Environmental Variables Device: Buri v 1.2.0 Mozilla RIL Build ID: 20131213004002 Gecko: http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g26_v1_2/rev/a2b69b561d9b Gaia: 1aca7c4860e39b1a9969807d335dcf9f070ea9b3 Platform Version: 26.0 The video appears normal when changing the phone orientation.
Calling this a regression because turning on APZC will cause this to regress.

(In reply to Jason Smith [:jsmith] from comment #3) > Calling this a regression because turning on APZC will cause this to regress. Note - APZC will be turned on 1.3 eventually, as this is a committed feature.
I'm pretty sure this one is a duplicate of bug 950487. I will try to land the patch tonigh, hoping that it will be in tomorrow build so you will be able to re-open if this is not a duplicate.
