Update the search mode tab bars to use the new 1.4 visual designs

Note that we've been having serious localization problems with the tab bar on the search UI and we should ideally change it entirely to something else, like a combo-box type thing that triggers a modal dialog to change the filtering mode.  In some languages there are no sufficiently short translations for the filter names.  In fact, in English, we're currently displaying text-overflow.

I’ll consult UX about the search UI you have mentioned, since this is more related to interaction.
