From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 2001090110 When I click "download java plugin" which is in the space where an applet should be, the plugin downloads fine and goes through the JRE installation. I am then told to restart the browser. Quitting the browser and starting it again causes the following message to be displayed: Error: The program must close to allow a previous attempt to complete, Please restart. Restarting Mozilla launches the browser but without the Java plugin installed. Clicking about:plugins does not show the java plugin. I have tried restarting the computer after closing mozilla, but the same thing happens when I try to restart mozilla after booting. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click where an applet should be, to download the Java plugin 2. Follow the install process. Quit the browser when it is finished 3. Start the browser again Actual Results: Receive the error message, Error: The program must close to allow a previous attempt to complete, Please restart Expected Results: Restarted with the java plugin
This is a dupe, but I can't query because bugzilla is currently broken
