Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:0.9.3+) Gecko/20010813 BuildID: 20010813 03 note: this is probably just me being stupid because it was highlighted in some release note or something I didn't read, but this is a VERY OBVIOUS bug that someone must have reported before me? ... The nightly build before this, 20010812 or something, right-click didn't work at all! In this build you can right click, but the following functions don't do _anything_, right-click ... 1. on link and select Open in New Window 2. and Reload Frame, or Back on a page with frames, 3. and select View Page Info, 4. and select Save As, or Save Frame As..., ...and there may be other functions too, especially when on a page with Frames. Reproducible: Always
This is already fixed... Nightly builds are test builds and there are no release notes for nightly builds... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 94990 ***

right, thanx! but can you explain (or point me in the right direction) basically more about nightly builds. i've already read, www.mozilla.org/binaries.html that doesn't say much. cause I mean I thought that nightly builds are like released builds with additions or new suggestions added on to them... like improving code as the builds move along. I mean as in, you have like build 20010808 with which you discover bugs, you fix some of these by adding further code and this then becomes a nightly 20010809 or such... and so everyone builds upon that??
Nightly builds = Release builds with additional code (to fix some bugs) A few of this bug fixes are causing regression (like this one) If you go to http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showbuilds.cgi?tree=SeaMonkey you can see the checkins by name and time. If you click on one of the "time" links you can see what is fixed since this time. But you can read long existing bugs in the release notes. You can ask me via email if you have more questions...
