The exception changed starting with comment 8, though it's still at the same line of the same file.

Bobby, any suggestions who might be able to help with this?

I can do some try runs to at least figure out where it is being thrown. This is weird enough it might be nice to have some NS_WARNING in there.

This is almost entirely XP opt Moth. There are a few failures on other Windows OSes.
That didn't hit any failures, so I'm trying again with a slightly newer branch, and without any of my other random patches: https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Try&rev=16c5778ae92d
That certainly hit failures. Oddly, I don't see any of that WARNINGs that I added. The first push was based on something earlier today, so maybe one of those patches magically fixes this issue. I'm not sure what though.
Nothing seems to have magically fixed it. Disabled on Windows in https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/rev/3ab13b082074

Which, alas, just moves it on to test_statusbar.xul. https://tbpl.mozilla.org/php/getParsedLog.php?id=33977511&tree=Mozilla-Inbound

test_showcaret.xul is the original source of the exception, it looks like. I'd try disabling that one.
The issue here is mostly likely that |listener| fires when the window has already been navigated away from. Looks like this is testing some possibly-important accessibility stuff. Flagging david to make sure this is on his radar.

Thanks Bobby. Passing the ping to Trevor.

(In reply to David Bolter [:davidb] from comment #144) > Thanks Bobby. Passing the ping to Trevor. I'm not sure what you want from me, I don't know anything about this test or what it presumably tests.
