Using "Close window"/"Close all windows" on the jumplist can minimize to tray if Instantbird is configured to "Minimize instead of closing". In this case (conditional or always?) we can add an "Exit Instantbird" item to the list to allow to quit Instantbird from the context menu/jumplist.

I think this is a good idea, Skype has one, and it comes in handy since you can't stop it from minimizing to the tray. I think it should be a conditional thing personally, but I'm not sure how difficult that is to do with our current API.

Closing bugs related to the Instantbird UI as WONTFIX, as the development of the standalone chat client Instantbird has stopped. Instantbird users are encouraged to migrate to Thunderbird. The user interface of instant messaging in Thunderbird will feel familiar, as the Thunderbird IM support started as a fork of Instantbird.
