One of the supported clients planned for the import wizard (Bug 954928 (bio 1495)) is the official Google Talk application. Reviews here will focus on this importer in specific.
The Google Talk client does not store conversation logs, so information imported will be limited to accounts (and a handful of settings, including autologin).

This depends on the patches in bug 955133 and bug 954928.

The import code never got added to Thunderbird.
