about:permissions is very slow
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131206152142 Steps to reproduce: 1. Went to about:permissions 2. Entered www.google.com into the "Search sites" box Actual results: The response was _very_ slow (more than one minute until www.google.com was found) Expected results: It should have been found within a reasonable time (sub-second, ideally). Can a substring search in a database really be _that_ slow?
Works fine and fast for me on my Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit machine, with latest Aurora (build ID: 20140105004002) Could you please try the following : 1) try this with a clean profile: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles 2) running in Safe mode: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Problem still happens in safe-mode Difficult to test with a clean profile, as all cookie permissions (except mozilla itself) are gone in a clean profile
