Details

On recent "nightly" (master) images from Geeksphone on my Peak, I cannot open any SMS messages where the sender does not contain a number. I can open any normal SMS message from other people, where the sender is their phone number, but I have several services I get SMS sent from that do not have a phone number as their sender. There the sender is specified in the SMS as e.g. "AnrufInfo" (when my carrier sends notifications about missed calls), "car2go Wien" (for notifications from a car sharing/rental service) or "Raiffeisen" (for TANs for my online banking). The ones from "car2go Wien" can be opened as usual, the ones from "AnrufInfo" and "Raiffeisen" cannot be opened. When normalized to numbers, I guess the working one gets reduced to "2" and the non-working ones to the empty string, and I guess that's where we run into the problem.
Oh, this works in 1.2 and earlier, and IIRC only started to fail after master became 1.4, but the bug might have been ported to 1.3 as well after it had been branched.
Summary: Cannot open SMS whose sender does not contain numbers (master/1.4, Peak) → [Messages] Cannot open SMS whose sender does not contain numbers (master/1.4, Peak)
I think this is bug 955925 too.
Hey Robert, can you check with recent images and see whether it's fixed now?

Yes, I can actually open the messages again, so this seems to definitely be a dupe.
