1. get nightly
2. set pref to enable fxa for sync
3. create user and sign in ( I had created one previously which could be part of the issue)
4. install and launch httpfox 

actual: continuous polling of 
api-accounts.dev.lcip.org/v1/recovery_email/status

Unable to repro when creating a new account using a  user@mailinator.com but only with an existing account user@hotmail.com that I created a few weeks ago on dev DB

Isn't this fixed already? The code polls for 5 mins and then just stops.
