95667 - Crash in activation screen

Description

seen on windows commercial build 2001-08-16-10-trunk

-create a new profile
-launch with the new profile
crash as the activation screen begins to open

note: This build also crashes when going to home.netscape.com. I am going to 
write up a bug on that too. though it seems they may be related. I'll post the 
bug # for that here in just a bit.

also note: so far seen on windows only.  am still waiting for mac and linux 
builds for today

filed bug 95672 for the netscape homepage crash.  unfortunately talkback 
didn't work for the activation screen crash.

on mac commercial build 2001-08-16-12-trunk this doesn't crash, but it does hang 
which makes the user force quite the app to escape.

Could be due to bug 95614. I've checked in a fix. Please update
mozilla/htmlparser/src.

This sounds like lower level code (probably htmlparser as harish thought)
causing this problem and possibly a dup of 95614 as the bug report states that
even going to homepage (probably on already activated accounts) results in a
crash. Activation code has not changed lately.

Confirmed with commercial debug build. It is the htmlparser code. I updated my
build with Harish's fix to bug 95614. Tested my commercial build. It's fixed.
