IMAP Sent & Template folders drop down to normal folders after relaunch 1)Create new proifle with IMAP mail account 2)Sent & Template folders default on the top for the special folders at the first launch. 3)After exit & relaunch again. 4)Actual Results: Sent & Template folders drop down to normal folders after relaunch. Expected results: Sent & Template folders should still keep on the top of the folder pane since there are special folders.

This is also applying for Draft folder. Nominating nsbranch since it shouldn't drop down to normal folders list on the folder pane for these special folders.....

is this something we'd like to get for MachV?

This occurs on linux as well, could someone verify this bug on Mac? I really hope something can be done with this bug soon, this is a major problem for me atleast. looking at the Sent folder, I see the From field rather than the To field in the listing. nominating for 1.5b and changing OS and severity
Severity: normal → major
Flags: blocking1.5b?
OS: Windows NT → All
This bug doesn't appear to have anything to do with the column headers for the contents of the particular folder (which work fine for me on the latest linux build). The bug is describing the ordering of the folders in the folder/server pane of the 3-pane mailnews window.
Severity: major → normal
Flags: blocking1.5b? → blocking1.5b-
on my build (1.5a release) I can in no way get "To" listed for the Sent folder. (Rather than From) it has been this way since time immemorial. (that is, since I started using IMAP) I think this is because mozilla doesn't recognize these folders as special folders.
Morten, could your problem be what's reported at bug 168060? There's a suggested workaround in the the second followup comment at that bug.
yes, that seems to be the issue here. thanks
